Anchored in 1 Thessalonians 2:7–8, this conversation unpacks the Apostle Paul’s extraordinary model of spiritual parenting.
Paul, though unmarried and without physical children, embraced a deep sense of spiritual responsibility, guiding, nurturing, and encouraging the churches he helped birth through the Gospel. Pastor Malcolm highlights four key areas where Paul exemplified spiritual parenthood:
Spiritual Birth – Leading others to Christ and embracing them as spiritual children.
Spiritual Growth – Nurturing maturity through the Word, care, and accountability.
Spiritual Activity – Encouraging joyful, prayerful, and thankful Christian living.
Spiritual Hope – Grounding believers in the eternal hope of Christ’s return.
We discuss the implications of each point and what it means for believers today, especially those discipling or mentoring others in the faith. Whether you're a pastor, parent, youth leader, or simply someone who influences others spiritually, this episode is a heartfelt call to embrace that responsibility like Paul did.

Drawing from Ezekiel 47, we explore how the river flowing from the temple symbolises the Holy Spirit, moving through Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, from Eden’s garden to the throne of God in Revelation 22. But this isn’t just theology, it’s about how we respond.
We unpack the four stages of the river — ankle-deep, knee-deep, waist-deep, and waters to swim in, and what they reveal about our walk with the Spirit:
Walking in the Spirit
Praying in the Spirit
Reproducing by the Spirit
Worshipping in the Spirit
From thought-provoking illustrations to real-life testimonies, this episode challenges us not to settle for shallow waters. We’re called to full surrender — letting the Spirit flow through our lives to reach the sea of lost humanity all around us.

The World Is Upside Down
Wednesday Aug 13, 2025
Wednesday Aug 13, 2025
Ever look around and think, hold on, this can’t be right? In this episode we unpack Pastor Malcolm Macqueen’s message, The World Is Upside Down, preached at King’s Christian Centre. Starting from Acts 17:6, we trace Paul’s journey to Thessalonica and that explosive charge, “These men… have turned the world upside down.” What does that mean for us, here and now, in a culture that calls evil good and good evil?
We’ll walk through the Scriptures Pastor Malcolm used ; Isaiah 5:20, Romans 1, Revelation 1:10 and 5:9, plus 1 Corinthians 11:3, to show why society feels out of sync and how the gospel doesn’t create chaos, it corrects it. You’ll hear the difference between demonic disorder and divine order, why truth still matters, and how putting God back at the top realigns everything else. Not theory for the shelf, but steps for Monday morning.
If your life feels a bit upside down, you’re not on your own. There’s hope, there’s clarity, there’s a way to live right side up with Jesus as King.
