A Call to Build the House of God

In this podcast, we reflect on Brother Joel’s sermon, “A Call to Build the House of God,” based on Haggai 1.

What does it really mean to build God’s house today? This conversation explores the call to move beyond comfort, fear and passive Christianity, and to become active members of the Body of Christ.

We look at the Israelites’ return from Babylon, the challenge of rebuilding the temple, the danger of putting personal comfort before God’s Kingdom and the importance of humility, unity and obedience. Most of all, we’re reminded that we don’t build in our own strength, the Lord of hosts is with us.

May this episode encourage you to ask: “Lord, how can I be useful in building Your Kingdom?”

Listen, reflect and be encouraged to move from simply attending church to actively building the Body of Christ.
